before u make any prejudgments based on assumptions nd unrecognized facts: the book by david stoll, was not meant 2 defame menchu, but talk about the indigenous struggles in civil war guatemala, and in that mentioning some discrepancies found in menchus book. Menchu is not necessarily a liar...worse things occured to hundreds of thousands of others. her book is only 1 voice. 4 a real opinion worth listening read the book she wrote nd the book stoll wrote.
